What a start we have enjoyed at Sunrise Naracoorte over the first three weeks of term. We began with our Dedication Service on the first day back, with a positive message from Mr Evans on our theme ‘In His Image’ and a preview of some upcoming programmes this year.

Both of the local hopes were knocked out of the Millicent & Naracoorte Cricket Association finals in thumping defeats last Saturday. Millicent and Rendelsham will now play in this Saturday’s grand final after they had big wins in last weekend’s semi-finals over Lucindale and Naracoorte Warriors respectively.

I was driving down Smith St when the deer shooting association were having their BBQ outside the town hall! I did not realise I was so close to death! Chris Oldfield said that the BBQ patrons were at risk of being shot ‘by aerial mounted shotguns guided by military grade infrared vision systems.’
