High flying advice on health care

By Wayne Hawthorne Words of medical advice were given to Probus men at their recent meeting while listening to the incredible career of Dr Sarah Mott who is now lecturing at TAFE Mount Gambier, Department of Nursing. Because men are generally poor at addressing physical and mental health, they were told to “get a grease and oil change regularly, irrespective”. If they cannot get a doctor appointment, they were told to “book one well in advance and use or re-schedule as required. It won’t go to waste if unused”. It became apparent that with her career background, Dr Sarah Mott was eminently qualified to speak of these and other medical matters. Sarah commenced nursing in a small country surgical hospital in UK, and worked in various positions in: Fort Myers, Florida; the Middle East; Geelong; Perth; Sydney; Adelaide; and now Mount Gambier.
