The Nurtured Village Upper South East

By Molly Hannaford The Nurtured Village is a nationally registered maternal mental health charity that relies on the generosity of our community to support young mothers and families around Australia. Myself (Molly Hannaford) and Emma Mehlhopt are proud to be supporting an Upper SE Limestone Coast branch that services Naracoorte, Lucindale, Padthaway, Bordertown, Mundulla and Keith. Our goal being to bring back the traditional village of support in early parenthood.  Each month, with the help of community members and The News Gives Back program, we knock on a families door with a car boot load full of donated home cooked meals, baby essentials, non-perishables and small gifts in an effort to provide practical support to families, express solidarity, kindness and in the process, forge villages in our community.
