The PM is asking Australians to vote for the VOICE as a concept, its functions and powers will be determined by the Labour party, the Greens and indigenous activists after the referendum. Very much like signing a blank cheque. Our PM has promised to deliver the Uluru Statement from the Heart in full numerous times. He claims it is only one page. The Uluru statement from the Heart as obtained under the Freedom of information act (FOI/2223/016) from the National Indigenous Australians Agency is 112 pages, the section titled Uluru Statement From The Heart (Uluru) is 26 pages. The PM has made it very clear that the reason for legislating the voice in the Constitution is that it will force Government and Govt departments to consult and LISTEN to the views of the VOICE.
