This week I want to focus on umpiring. I have watched a lot of AFL footy over the weekend, and I am not really all that happy about the standard of umpiring at the top level. I watched a local game on Saturday and after watching the same sport on Friday night I am really happy to keep going to my local footy every Saturday. I simply can’t believe with all the technology and whatever that is going on with the AFL, that they could mess up a couple of decisions in an important game so badly.  I was watching Collingwood V Geelong. Jeremy Cameron definitely did not mark that ball, it was over the boundary line. But the Boundary Empire was right there, so he was in the better position than me to judge that one.
