The first teams to verse each other on Tuesday night were the Beamers and the Scorchers, the game started off with Stuart Martyn from the Beamers and Shane Sinclair from the Scorchers. Their game went for four sets and the scores were 11-13, 11-5, 12-10 and 11-7, it was Stuart who was able to win the last set, winning the game. The first double lasted for five sets and it was won by the Beamers as well. The double was played by Stuart Martyn and Lou MacDonald from the Beamers and Buck Buckner and Shane Sinclair from the Scorchers, scores were 8-11, 11-9, 11-8, 5-11 and 11-9. The final scores for the night came down to 6-6, 23-25, the winners were the scorchers, thank you to Lou MacDonald for filling in for Vicki Staude.
