The grey clouds came in and it started to rain but that did nothing to dampen the spirits of all players. Despite the weather, it was a fast start with both teams getting out of the blocks quickly. The first quarter finished even but Dartmoor had the momentum. Once the rain had cleared early into the second quarter, Dartmoor showed their quality all around the pitch with fast ball movement and a lot of circle penetrations.
