By Georgia Gill. Qualifying Final Div 1 – Penola vs Naracoorte Naracoorte had the better start in their clash against Penola, taking a four goal lead into quarter time. Led by Porter who was dominant throughout the match in the midcourt, Penola bounced back in the second as they went into halftime up by the smallest of margins. All four goalies shot with incredible accuracy in a skilled game of netball, particularly Modra-Ryan who held her nerve for Naracoorte in the third term to head into the last quarter with the two teams locked on 37 goals apiece. Penola found another gear in the final quarter to take the win by four goals, 49 to 45, earning the right to face minor premiers Kingston next weekend.
