Bordertown Ladies Triples Championship to Belinda Pepper (SK)

Bordertown Ladies played their Championship Triples in early November in good conditions with 4 teams on the greens. It was great to see most of our Ladies playing. Playing Round Robin there were some very good bowls being played by all teams. Winners were Jenny Marshall, June Tink and Belinda Pepper (sk).

Lucindale continued their strong season in Millicent and District Cricket association last Saturday. Lucindale hosted a big celebrity cricket match on Friday night against an Adelaide Crows representative side, on a night full of emotion after the tragic events of the night before.

Last Saturday saw the 4th round of the U14 Hall trophy commence. This week’s opponents for the Penola/Naracoorte U14’s were Mil Lel, being played at their home ground Frew Park. The sky was cloudy, a light drizzle was around, and both teams were ready for a good game.

Beachport were once again looking dominant over Penola and have moved themselves comfortably into second position on the ladder. Meanwhile, Kingston held top spot with another win, this time over Naracoorte.
