Border Districts once again underlined their premiership credentials for the 2023 KNTFL A grade season with a convincing win over another top contender last Saturday. Playing against fellow top 5 side Naracoorte at Naracoorte’s home ground, Borders raced out of the blocks to have a hold on the game at quarter time. They led 44-7 at quarter time, and built on that lead for the next two quarters before Naracoorte won the last quarter narrowly to go down 17.16 to 10.5. Borders’ former league medallist Mark Quinn was in top form again and was BOG, Zac Richards continued his excellent season and Mackenzie Bower kicked 6 important goals. Naracoorte was well served by Nathan Davey and Keenan Jacobs, and Rory Taggert kicked 3 goals.
