Winter fun at Bridge

By Bridging the Gap Twenty-eight members enjoyed playing 28 bridge boards at Bridge@Bowls at the Naracoorte Bowling Club. It was great seeing fresh faces back at the club and thank you Sue Munro for sharing some garden bulbs.  All members are invited to a Winter Funfest bridge day on July 23. There is no need to organise a partner, just wear a ‘hat’ and enjoy the frivolities plus novelties on the day. Bridge commences at 10am, lunch will be provided followed by more bridge finishing midafternoon. The cost will be $20/player and there will be free raffles and prizes to envy.  Last week’s winners for EW with a fabulous 63.39% were Ruth Dennis/Julia Arnold, an impressive result considering their recent absence from bridge.
