The July school holidays are underway, and there is plenty of fun to enjoy over the coming fortnight with our “Roar and Explore” holiday theme at the Naracoorte Library. Our free all-day 3D Megafauna Word and Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt continue throughout the holidays, keeping young explorers busy as they search the library for prehistoric creatures. For older children, the Jurassic World Virtual Reality (VR) Experience is also available. Recommended for ages 12 and over, it’s a fantastic opportunity to come face-to-face with dinosaurs in an immersive virtual world. We’re also excited to welcome children’s author Linley Moyle to the library at 11am on Wednesday, July 15. Linley will read her latest book, with the real-life doggy stars from the story making a special appearance.
