Things are starting to sort themselves out already after only two rounds of the KNTFL A grade competition in 2026. The four winners of last Saturday’s round 2 matches have declared themselves as finals probabilities, and the four losers of those games have some work to do. In the feature game of the round – the first night game under the new lights at Bordertown – the home side underlined their credentials as a true contender this year with a thumping win over Kybybolite. Kyby have been a finalist in the last two years, but had no answers for the hard-running Roosters who kicked 7.2 to 0.0 in the first quarter to put the result beyond doubt from the start.
