There were six full tables at Bridge@Bowls at the Naracoorte Bowling and Croquet Club on Thursday which was great to see. While the surroundings were pleasant and the company congenial, the cards refused to behave themselves. This is evidenced by the strange distribution of scores on the result sheet. Our three N.S. winners on the day were Jill Jacob/Sandra Haynes, Christine McDonald/Helen Cox, and Marjorie Todd/Jill Redway. For E.W.  we had Janeen Wishart/John Sunderland, Meredith Lawrie/Jenni Castine, and Mary Lush/Sally Clarke. Well done to all placegetters as it was a very tricky day. Congratulations also to Mary Lush/Sally Clarke and Janeen Wishart/John Sunderland for each getting one of those ever elusive slams.
