A recommendation was put to the Naracoorte Lucindale Council in its May meeting to remove Seniors and Volunteers Week recognition events from its calendar of events. The recommendation was brought forward by council chief executive officer Trevor Smart as part of the Civic and Ceremonial Policy review.
