Warriors had an easy win over Mt Burr, while Naracoorte Townies lost to the Robe Roosters in an upset, and Lucindale lost to the powerful Rendelsham team in a top-of-the-table clash.

No parking at ANZ site

NARACOORTE’S former ANZ Bank building will not be bought by the council, demolished, and turned into 41 public car parks.

Mayor Patrick Ross used his casting vote to squash the concept at Naracoorte Lucindale Council’s November 28 meeting when councillors were tied 5-5 over the issue.

Meanwhile, 17 private car parks at the site on 99 Smith St are no longer accessible to the public for parking.

There was a jump in cattle numbers to 1,173 at Naracoorte which was an increase of 378 head on last week. Quality was mostly good with another outstanding offering of cows, grown cattle showing condition and well presented mixed sex yearlings and vealers.
