Congratulations to Darryl Grosser Serviceton Bowling Club Mens Singles Champion for the 2023-24 Bowling Season. The initial rounds of our club Mens Championship were played on Saturday 11th in the morning, with the finals played on Sunday 12th morning. Darryl Grosser played Mark Shawcross and Darren Merrett played Rick Miles.

In the Cullen Pennant Bordertown Ladies travelled to Tintinara Thursday to play Keith with Keith coming out victors. Belinda Pepper, Judy Lack, Judy Vanderhorst and Glenda Tink led right through to the 24th end.

Last Saturday saw the second week of the 2 day game against Mt Burr in the U14 Hall Trophy. The Penola/Naracoorte U14’s posted a good score of 129 and were looking to protect the runs this week. The sun was hidden, sky looking cloudy, wind sweeping across the ground, and both teams were ready to have a good game.

Naracoorte Red def Lucindale Roos 42-40 games
In another close rubber for the Lucindale Roos, Naracoorte Red proved too strong in the end, winning 42 games to 40. It all came down to the singles between Charles Bruce and Angus Redding with teams tied at 36 games all.
