Four seasons prevailed last Wednesday at Lucindale Ladies Closing Day, hail created havoc on the first green played but fortunately, it was short lived. We all enjoyed playing a nine-hole Stableford competition off the Orange markers, along with a bonus of one mulligan per hole (an extra stroke allowed after a poor poor shot, not counted on the scorecard).

Padthaway WAB set out to the local Naracoorte Art Gallery to attend a workshop presented by Natalie Cardinal who owns a business called Mundulla Mud. On Tuesday, two teams of ladies travelled to Naracoorte R.S.L. and without mentioning names, Glenda, Chris, Judy and Jenny received the encouragement award amid much laughter and clapping. Bordertown Ladies hosted the pennant teams Thursday with Bordertown’s Belinda Pepper, Judy Vanderhorst, Glenda Tink and Jenny Marshall defeating Mundulla 31-24.
