For a nice change the wind wasn’t blowing and we all enjoyed perfect calm conditions for our day of bowls which consisted of 3 games of 10 ends with one 3 game winner Alison and 4 players on 2 wins.

Naracoorte Highland Pipe Band

The Naracoorte Highland Pipe Band is a community favourite at many events in the South-East, performing regularly at Anzac Day in Naracoorte and Apsley, Christmas parades at Naracoorte, Lucindale, Kingston and Robe, and they continue to entertain the crowds at these functions. Some of the pipers and drummers are involved in a combined competition performance band, along with members from Mount Gambier and Horsham.
