By Mick Derrington Thank you for the contribution of $500 towards our hockey club. We will use the funds to go towards new goalie equipment for our senior goalies. In recent years we have upgraded the junior goalie equipment so they have the best & sadly some of the senior equipment now needs a birthday. Our club in recent years have been the most successful in the association in terms of premierships & also numbers. We are a very socially family focussed club with mums & dads & kids of the same family all playing. We welcome new families & players of all ages to come along. If you want to watch for a few weeks before picking up a stick, we welcome this as this is how many people begin to play. By Abigail Goodman The Lucindale Economic Development Board Inc (LINC) aims to be the link between community ideas and making them happen. It was established 20 years ago to promote the development of the Lucindale district and community by developing projects, identifying funding opportunities and acting as an umbrella body for various community organisations/projects. LINC organises the community Christmas party each year, including a parade and Santa visit, and in 2022 we also had market stalls run by local children and highly competitive yabby racing! One of our current projects is raising funds to support a Lucindale community member to participate in the Limestone Coast Emerging Leaders Program. The Program develops personal leadership skills, knowledge of the region and a broad network of professional and community contacts.
