Council supports its valuable community groups

Three community groups will receive funding boosts for a range of projects, including security, lighting, and a SA Rural Women’s Gathering event in Robe, through the District Council of Robe’s Community Assistance Fund. Whist Council’s Community Assistance Fund grant program has $10,000 available this year, only three eligible applications were received, resulting in Council only allocating 60% of this amount to the local community groups.

Round 17 of open Saturday pennant saw Naracoorte RSL play Millicent Blue in Division 1 and Millicent in Division 3 at home last weekend. With Division 1, Ryan O’Shaughnessy, David O’Shaughnessy, Dean Cazzolato and Lindy Mark dominated all afternoon against Peter Scanlon and took an easy win of 35 shots to 13 at the end of the game.
