Beachport were the top performers in Round 4 of the SPTA season. Travelling to Robe, the Pirates showed a dominant display against Robe Roosters, only dropping three sets for the day. This win moving them into third position on the ladder.

In another close rubber for the Lucindale Roos, Naracoorte Red proved too strong in the end, winning 42 games to 40. It all came down to the singles between Charles Bruce and Angus Redding with teams tied at 36 games all.
