Closing day for the ladies winter season was held a couple of Wednesdays ago and what a day it was, playing in rain, hail, sunshine and wind. A nine hole modified Pinehurst was played in drawn pairs, with both ladies driving, then after choosing which ball to play, it was alternate hits after that.

Lucindale Bowls Club held its Minijumbuk 100 up Singles competition on 1st November with 10 bowlers taking part.  For a nice change the wind wasn’t blowing and we all enjoyed perfect calm conditions for our day of bowls which consisted of 3 games of 10 ends with one 3 game winner Alison and 4 players on 2 wins.
