Serviceton Bowling Club news

Congratulations to Darryl Grosser Serviceton Bowling Club Mens Singles Champion for the 2023-24 Bowling Season. The initial rounds of our club Mens Championship were played on Saturday 11th in the morning, with the finals played on Sunday 12th morning. Darryl Grosser played Mark Shawcross and Darren Merrett played Rick Miles.

Lucindale Cricket Club is hosting a massive night this Friday with a T20 match featuring some big AFL names, in what will be a true highlight of this local cricket season. The Roos are welcoming back some of the big names of their local footy club, along with some new friends for a big celebrity game that is sure to attract a good crowd.

Bordertown Bowling Club – Local bowls ladies in State Women’s Triples

Congratulations to Belinda Pepper(s), Sarah Ross and Cathy Healy who represented region 1 in the State Triples. In the Cullen Pennant Bordertown Ladies travelled to Tintinara Thursday to play Keith with Keith coming out victors. Belinda Pepper, Judy Lack, Judy Vanderhorst and Glenda Tink led right through to the 24th end.

U14’s fall short in cracking game

Last Saturday saw the second week of the 2 day game against Mt Burr in the U14 Hall Trophy. The Penola/Naracoorte U14’s posted a good score of 129 and were looking to protect the runs this week. The sun was hidden, sky looking cloudy, wind sweeping across the ground, and both teams were ready to have a good game.
