Consistent wickets enable U14’s chasable target

Last Saturday saw the 8 th round of the U14 Hall Trophy. This week’s opponent for the Penola/Naracoorte U14 team was Millicent at McCorquindale Park. The pitch was freshly rolled, the sky was cloudy, and both teams were ready for a good game. Captain, Sid Ebert lost the toss and Millicent elected to bat.

Bordertown Bowling Club: Wayne Wiese wins Bordertown Bowling Clubs Singles Championship

19 men participated in the Championship Singles which began on Saturday 13th, giving the spectators a very interesting day with great bowls being played. The semi finals on Sunday were C. Sutton d. P. Cornish 23-7, W. Wiese d. D. Jaensch 21-14.
