By Bridging the Gap
Last week’s hot day was a perfect excuse to spend the afternoon playing bridge at the ‘cool’ Naracoorte Bowling Club. There were 24 ladies who played 30 boards with high card points shared evenly in both directions. Congratulations to E/W winners Prue Ellis/Jenny Pridham on 56%, closely followed by Margie MacKay/Jill Perkins on 54%.

I’ve let myself settle after Monday night’s Sports Centre meeting. To start with, disappointment would be my most overwhelming feeling at the moment. With all sporting clubs and associations having to collaborate and swim in the same lane only to get this outcome…very disheartening.
