Naracoorte Inter Church Council Chaplaincy fund

By Norma Davis The Naracoorte Interchurch Council (made up from members of the various Christian Churches in Naracoorte) has been supporting the School Chaplains, now called Pastoral Care Workers, in Naracoorte’s three public schools for over 40 years. It is our pleasure and delight as ICC members to share in the appointment of Pastoral Care Workers to the three public schools in Naracoorte. The school benefits from having an extra staff member, who is a staff member without a class to teach, and who is therefore free to help children and teachers in many different ways. The Interchurch Council works under the umbrella of S.A. Schools Ministry Association through which PCW’s are paid the Federal and State funding which is allocated each year.
