By Tanya Turner The Apsley Action Group was established around ten years ago, when a group of like-minded people were keen to get some projects off the ground for our little town. Some of these projects have included the mural that is painted on the public toilets, maintenance of Federation Corner, the Bullock and Wagon Structure in town, the introduction and production of the monthly newsletter – The Maggie Chatter, the half basketball court at the park and the replacement of the Historical signs along the Historical walk. When the town had no local meeting point the monthly schnitzel night was introduced. This gave locals a place to catch up and have a social night out, sometimes with a guest speaker.
