By Ms Edwards, Principal Refugee Week Did you know this week we celebrate Refugee Week? Refugee Week is an annual event in Australia that is celebrated from the 18th to the 24th of June. It is a time to acknowledge the contributions, resilience and courage of refugees, asylum seekers and their families. Our school understands the importance of promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity. It is also a time to appreciate the immense contribution that refugees make in our local community. Refugee week is so important to us as it helps raise awareness and inspire action towards creating an inclusive society for all.
