By Graham Pymer, MLA Cattle: LWB 27 – LWY 209 – LWC 143 – OAY 5 Naracoorte agents yarded a larger offering of 384 cattle this week, made up of 209 young cattle, 125 cows, 27 bulls and a few open auction young cattle. Quality was mostly good with the usual buying group operating in a dearer market over most categories. Young cattle sold to 436c to be to 20c/kg dearer. The few grown steers sold to 330c to be dearer on last week. Beef bred cows sold to 260c/kg to be to 10c/kg dearer with the 2 and 3 score cows to 20c/kg dearer in places.   Young cattle mostly sold to the trade from 265c to 426c and to feeders from 265c to 376c/kg.
