Naracoorte Golf Club

By Sam Brooksby The Naracoorte Golf Club provides a sporting, recreational and social service to local residents and visitors in a beautiful setting. Apart from running golf competitions, the NGC provides a social venue for a variety of local and regional organizations that include visiting golfing groups, intra and inter-regional golf tournaments, LSE Veterans, Legends, Tour Pro Am, Open Day and the Taste Festival. In addition, the Club hosts funeral wakes and supports and hosts numerous charities (RFDS, Red Cross, Legacy, Variety, Stand Like Stone and Hospital Auxiliary) in their money-raising activities. The NGC Committee has resolved to upgrade its clubhouse with a wheelchair access ramp as part of a larger, longer-term modernization project. Wheelchair access is the most important and pressing requirement, essential for the club to achieve a modern, acceptable standard.
