By Kaye Beauchamp The Naracoorte Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild was very grateful to receive your previous donation. The money was put towards subsidising the costs of bringing a Guild tutor to run a workshop for our members in November. Carol Mullan was the tutor, and she taught “Counted Sashiko”. This is a technique which uses very simple stitches, but the patterns created can be quite complex. Another workshop is planned for March this year, to learn a different embroidery technique. In June last year our branch celebrated its 40th birthday, with a lunch for current and past members. We also invited members of the Executive Committee from Adelaide and members from Mt.
