For many years I have been researching the descendants of Duncan MacInnes, merchant of the Isle of Skye, Scotland, c1778-1832 and wife Margaret MacLean c1796-1853. 4 of their 7 children emigrated to Australia. Their 5th daughter, Margaret MacInnes 1827-1892, married Dr Alexander McDonald 1813-1891 in Scotland.

Lucindale made a statement by beating top team Millicent in the match of the round for Millicent and Naracoorte District Cricket association last Saturday. Sitting third on the ladder, Lucindale dominated the top side in the second-last game of the minor round, Millicent batted first and struggled badly, with opening bowlers Brandon Nicolle and Michael McGurk making early inroads with figures of 2/15 and 2/28.
