What’s happening at the Naracoorte Library and Town Hall
Say hello to Theo Naracoorte Library’s Little Explorer! We’re pretty excited to introduce a new face at Naracoorte Library. From September 7, keep an eye out for Theo, our new library mascot, who will be starting to pop up around the library and in our children’s programs and activities. Theo is a Thylacoleo, or marsupial lion, and was chosen because of the wonderful connection to the prehistoric animals our region is so well known for. We wanted Theo to be a fun character that children can get to know and recognise as part of the library. He’s our Little Explorer, encouraging kids to read, explore, connect and discover new things in our community. From next Monday, when you’re in the library, see if you can spot Theo’s footprints, find his new sign and keep an eye out for a few Theo stickers as well. This is also just the beginning […]
