The District Council of Robe has called on the federal government to urgently review Australia’s Financial Assistance Grant formula, after allocations for 2025 26 confirmed Robe will again receive the lowest possible funding in the state — just $42,321 in general purpose funding, or $26.27 per resident.

At club bowls on October 18, we had three teams finish with 53 points. Darryl Grosser’s team with Gwen Colwill, Bev Makin, and Les Millikin were the winners on count back. They won the much valued Caddyshack vouchers on the day.

From playing in Holland, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Darwin, Australian Hockeyroos, and Adelaide Fire players have found time in their busy schedule to run a two-hour-long hockey clinic for the juniors of Naracoorte, Tatiara, and Mount Gambier.
