Last week 22 members enjoyed a solid afternoon playing 25 boards of Bridge@Bolws at the Naracoorte Bowling Club.
Steve tops the day with 37
Naracoorte was the venue for 74 golfers competing in the annual Monfries & Porter Cup. They found slick greens and dry fairways, meaning scores should have been easy, however, 37 was the day’s best by Steve Forsyth of Millicent who took out second division (two rounds in a row), from Penola’s Trev Williams 35, and “Lucky” Lyndsay Copeman of Blue Lake with 32. First division was won by a Blue Lake visitor, Russell Christian, with 35, from Rob Bittner, a new member from Naracoorte, 34 and Millicent’s Greg Cook also 34 on count back.
