Not many people know how close Naracoorte came to losing the building where the Belvedere once stood. When locals Richard and Ginny Harvie rescued the vacant building from near-demolition in 2016, they brought in Alex and Cameron Protopopoff as leaseholders – handing over a lovingly refurbished space from which a remarkable business would thrive, to someone who had built one before.
