Some positional changes worked in Kingston’s favor as they regained momentum to be up by four at half time. Midwinter was pivotal for Naracoorte in the third quarter as they closed the gap to three goals at three quarter time. Centaur players all chipped in, Alan Martyn, Gommo and Tom Randall winning two singles each. Griffin captain Steve Lawrie won his 3 singles, and teammate Simon Smith can count himself unlucky, losing 2 five set matches, firstly against Tom Randall, going down 8-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-6, 5-11, and then against Gommo, 11-7, 4-11, 8-11,11-8, 6-11. Centaur won 2 of the 3 doubles to give them the points. Medusa climbed up to third on the ladder with an 8-4 win over bottom team Goblin. The first single was between Shane Sinclair and Lou MacDonald, the scores were 9-11, 11-8, 11-2 and 11-4, this game was won by Shane. The second double was played by Shane Sinclair and Ashton Gale on team Elites and Stuart Martyn and Brendan Preiss from the Beamers, scores were 3-11, 4-11, 6-11 this game was won by Beamers. The game went for five sets and scores were 11-8, 2-11, 4-11, 11-8 and 11-7, it was Buck taking the win. The third double was played by Shane Sinclair and Tracy Westover from the Scorchers and Dean Dunsford and Tyler Sinclair from the Trackers, scores for this game were 11-7, 11-5, 10-12 and 11-8, the Scorchers were able to win. Final scores for the night were 6-6, 23-21, the Scorchers won the night.
