KNTFL A Grade match report – Keith v Mundulla By Barb Altus Keith and Mundulla won alternate quarters, with the Crows winning the first and third, but the Tigers won the second to level the scores at half-time before their strong final term turned a seven-point three-quarter time deficit into a fifteen-point win. Keith kept the Moots scoreless in the first quarter despite their hard work, particularly by Jaeschke, Hinge, Billy Wiese, Tink, Phillips, and King. The Crows’ first scoring shot by Hender early in the term was touched through for a minor score, and their second score came twelve minutes into the term when Will McMurray worked the ball to Aaron Young who kicked truly. Footy report The fight for top 3 spots in the KNTFL is heating up as the second half of the season picks up pace. In the round 10 results last weekend, the reigning premiers Mundulla made a statement that they’re not going anywhere, holding on to second spot on the ladder and sending another contender Keith out of the top 5. The game was predicted to go either way with the teams both in the mix for finals, but despite leading narrowly at three quarter time, Keith couldn’t hold on and Mundulla won 12.6 to 9.9 in a highly competitive game. Mundulla got another great game out of midfielder Elliot Jaeschke and James Hinge kicked another 5 goals to continue his good recent goalkicking form, while Keith were best served by young local Aydon Innes and ex-AFL recruit Aaron Young. By Jenny Dickenson In division 4 at last week’s squash winter pennant, Chelsea won the first set against Sadie in a long call 17-15, although Sadie won the next three in an improving game with some great rallies.  Jack and Phil played the closest match in division 1, with great shots by both players and Phil winning the third set to stay in the game in a close 15-14, but Jack dominated the fourth set to win the match.  In division 2, Nathan won in four close sets against Paul. Results Division 1: Jack d Phil 3-1, Bruce d Rick 3-0, Andy d Rowan 3-0, Tony d Ewen 3-0. Division 2: Tony d Roger 3-0, Nathan d Paul 3-1. SE Veteran golf results: 15 June 2026 By Max Clifford A field of 48 players travelled to Kingston despite a threatening forecast and managed to complete the round before the showers arrived. The course was presented in magnificent condition and thoroughly enjoyed by all.  The first division winner was Mount Gambier’s Daryl Hutchins with 37 points, from Millicent’s Steve Forsyth and Robe’s Gordie Fleming both with 36 points. Daryl is currently riding a winning streak and added an Eagle to it on the 2nd, with a good drive and then flushing his 5 wood into the hole from 165 metres. In division 2, it was Bordertown’s Kevin Obst on 35, counting out Millicent’s Glen Tilley, and then Mount Gambier’s Max Clifford with 34.  The Ross Orchard trophy went to Baz Turnbull and Tank Thompson. Naracoorte Table Tennis A Grade winter season – Round By Michael Waters The winter A grade season of table tennis started on June 15 with six teams competing. A couple of players have made the move from B grade to A grade, and there were a couple of returning players. JKK had the biggest win of the night when they defeated VML 8 games to 4. For VML, Victor and Michael played well winning two singles each, while Lucilo found the step up to A grade pretty tough, although he did take a set off Kevan, and as the season progresses he will certainly get better. For the winners, Jordon Miller won all his singles while Kevan Addicott and Kevin Schultz won a single each. In the next game, The Rabble won in a close game with SMP.
