Creditors of Naracoorte’s closed Morris Bakery are owed more than $350,000, and investigations confirm the company was not insured for employee dishonesty. New information ascertained by this newspaper on the business’s liquidation process confirms that the company’s director has completed his report on “company activities and property,” which has been lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Midweek pennant Robe travelled to Millicent Wednesday and although the greens were running beautifully the results were not what Robe were hoping for. Millicent Blue 55 shots 8 pts def Robe 41-0. Jim Gray, Pam Robinson, Dean Burgoyne and Stephen Kennett led until the 11th end but then Heather Carthew’s team hit the front and gradually increased their lead to win 28-18.

The on-ball brigade didn’t disappoint, giving the Kyby forwards some early chances at goal. Jamie Wachtel’s ruck work gave Dellie Brown, Jedah Huf and Kate Edmonds plenty of possessions.
