There were close games across the board to start the second half of the table tennis A Grade winter season last Monday night.
LAST week’s golf competition for Lucindale ladies was sponsored by Wild Game Wines.
There were 26 bridge players last week including three novice players with some scoring at least one top hand in their respective directions which was impressive.
This deal was played in 3NT four times by West, making 10 tricks twice , 9 tricks once and 8 tricks once. Three times it was played in 4H, making once and two tricks down twice, most likely due to the 5 0 break in the missing trumps. What caught my attention happened on the opening lead in one of the 3NT contracts.
SOUTH EAST has claimed its fifth THINK! Road Safety South Australian Men’s Country Championship with a hard-fought 15-point win against Southern Districts in the grand finale at Memorial Oval in Port Pirie.
