Robbie Dahler, Josh Waddell, Errol Jennings and David Robinson defeated Ron Garton’s team 27-19 and Jim Gray, Pam Robinson, Steve Farrell and Stephen Kennett were defeated by Robert Kirkland’s team 23-18.

A Naracoorte thoroughbred with a personality all his own scored his 13th career win at Morphettville on Saturday, lifting his prizemoney tally to almost $400,000.  The Sue Murphy-trained Hasta La Fiorente ploughed through the heavy track conditions to narrowly claim the 2500m benchmark 80 race – the seventh victory with jockey Dom Tourneur on his back.
