Kyby met South Gambier at Naracoorte Footy Club for another warm one and kicking into a slight breeze in the first quarter was essential in creating a strong start. The on-ball brigade didn’t disappoint, giving the Kyby forwards some early chances at goal. Jamie Wachtel’s ruck work gave Dellie Brown, Jedah Huf and Kate Edmonds plenty of possessions.

A solid crowd, a home-town win and a successful day – with the promise of more ahead – were the take-home messages from the 2024 Naracoorte Racing Club’s cup meeting, held last Sunday week. Around 1000 people attended the club’s biggest meeting of the year, which offered record overall prize money, including $40,000 alone for the 2000m MiniJumbuk Naracoorte Cup.
