Umpiring has unfortunately been back in the headlines in the last couple of weeks – after that goal umpire made a wrong call which apparently cost the Adelaide Crows a premiership. Now I know I might be biased as a non-Crows supporter, and even more biased because I support their hated rivals, but I still think the footy world has gone too bananas about the decision. Crows fans are just a bit too passionate at the best of times, but they’ve gone over the top on this one.
