By Sally MacLeod Koonara Wines kindly sponsored the Stableford round last Wednesday. They provided prizes for both winners and runner ups which was very generous and we thank them for their ongoing support of our ladies competition. There were only 18 ladies in the field – numbers have been declining over the past weeks which is disappointing when the course is looking so good. It was a beautiful sunny winter’s day making for some reasonably good golf scores. Both grade winners were decided on count backs. Congratulations to Kim Trueman who won the A grade with 35 points on a count back from Robyn Hage. Kim’s new buggy is obviously helping her golf! The B grade was very close with five ladies scoring 33 points! The winner was Trish Brooker and the runner up Di McInnes.
