By Michael Waters In the battle between top team Pegasus and bottom team Goblin, Pegasus were lucky to come out on top with an 8-4 win. Pegasus won all three doubles that gave them the edge. For Pegasus, Mike Waters won 3 singles and Kevan Addicott and Frank Lacey won a single each. Goblins Steve Biggins and Peter Lawrie won 2 singles each. The match of the night was between the improving Peter Lawrie and Frank, Peter just getting there in 5 sets, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 15-17, 13-11. It doesn’t get much closer than that. Centaur remain in second spot on the ladder after they accounted for Troll, the final scoreline was also 8-4. For Centaur, Alan Martyn is having a fine season and he won all his singles, including a win in 4 sets over Troll Captain Jordon Miller, Alan winning 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 11-8.
