The Moots goaled first when Hollams passed to McGrice who kicked accurately, then Kuchel, McGrice, Hinge and Jaeschke drove the ball from defence to attack where Studham made no mistake. The Roos replied when Gordon, Trembath and Davidson worked the ball to Sam Pitt who kicked truly, before Mundulla’s Ballinger directed the ball to McGrice who kicked his second major, then the Tigers quickly slammed the ball forward again where Stephan kicked accurately.
