By Shawn Menz Saturdays competition was a pairs 4 ball better ball sponsored by quality wool. The weather was excellent for golf despite some late misty rain in the afternoon. Most players made the most of the conditions with some great scores coming in. With over 20 players in the field it was good to see numbers getting back to normal. Winner of the day was the impressive father and son pairing of Todd and Geoff Smith with a massive 47 stableford points. The unlucky runner ups to that score was the days sponsor Bill Lively and Jack Handbury with an equally impressive 45 points. I think Jack and Bill were pretty confident of winning the day with that score only to be outdone by Todd and Geoff.
