Labor’s lacklustre school support for South East

The Opposition fears the Malinauskas Labor Government’s recent school funding announcement simply doesn’t go far enough to address significant infrastructure concerns at many South Australian public schools – particularly those in regional SA. Shadow Minister for Education, Training and Skills, John Gardner, and Shadow Assistant Minister for Regional South Australia, Ben Hood, have been in direct contact with numerous schools in the South East that be been overlooked in Labor’s $14.3 million school upgrades announcement – including Glenburnie Primary School, Mulga Street Primary School and Mil-Lel Primary School, who are exposed to a range of unacceptable safety issues.
