MacKillop’s political contest has widened, with One Nation candidate Jason Virgo launching a direct challenge to the major parties and warning regional communities are being left behind on health services, infrastructure, and cost-of-living relief.

All five candidates contesting the seat of MacKillop have declared support for establishing radiotherapy services in the Limestone Coast, according to written responses provided to the Limestone Coast Radiation Treatment Working Group ahead of this month’s state election.

Radiotherapy for our region of almost 70,000 people is essential, regardless of who forms government after the March 21 state election.
